Whatever you do, do not post it with E Bay, you will not get the best pricing for your piece, speaking from my experience.
Some of these mantel clocks are fetching high prices especially when they are German or European made.

March 7th, 2010Hello! I was wondering if anyone has a source (book, website, article..anything) that would help me learn to repair broken cuckoo clocks? My family has a few broken/damaged clocks and I’m interested in repairing/repainting them for Christmas gifts this year.
search your web…cuckoo clocks…have your name of the clock plus the type or model and serial numbers…make sure yout also see what type yours …like electric..or windup…etc

The clocks are the same, except the ones known as
carriage clocks featured a handle on top, and were originally used as travel clocks. These clocks often sit on mantles, a shelf that projects from a wall above a fireplace.

Projection Clock Setback?
March 7th, 2010I’ve been trying to set up the projection part of my iLive clock and it’s still not coming along all that great. I’ve set up my clock perfectly fine, but my projector keeps saying 8:88. And it doesn’t say anything in the manual about this. Can someone please help?

some clocks you turn the minute hand counter clockwise till you get to the right time. then you wind all 3 stems with the key. wind the stems every week at the same time.
