I have a mantel clock that I would like to get information about?

My clock has the name Leroy A Paris and 782 stamped on the frame of the works. It looks like someone mounted the clock in a home made cabinit, however it is done tastefully. The clock has a pendulum,
The face of the clock has chime and time winder posts, the face has no ID words. The works look all brass. The face is three inches in diameter. I have no historical data as it was in the junk where I found it.

or antique shop, make sure you tell them you are a novice and ask them for their best pricing information (and then don’t sell it to them). unfortunately leroy a paris did a ton of watch movements and in many sizes (down to pocket watches for example). there is likely a book listing more company info butitwouldalmost certainlybe a specialty book not readily available (or even still in print)

ifit is a re-used face (i.e. a movement taken from the orgianl case and put in a hand made case, there is likely to be little value though

i’ll through some other movementsby them to make you drool :)

good luck!
