Clocks

I just painted my room olive green, I have a plain wood floor, some candles that used to look like cappucinos before I left them in the sun, a starbucks coffee cup as a pen-holder, a big clock with a picture of Elvis on it and blue neons around the outside, but thats pretty much all. Can anyone give me some tips on things I can add/do to my room in order to get it looking more how I described in the title?
Im not trying to turn my room into a coffeehouse, Im just trying to achieve that same atmosphere. Thanks

Put a little cafe table in the corner with a couple of chairs for your morning coffee. I’d add a couple of pictures over that area pertaining to the coffee theme. This is where you can go more of a vintage look. Perhaps you can find something on ebay?? How about a vintage chaulkboard with phrases pertaining to coffee or a "cup of the day". Sounds like a great theme. Good luck!

I have a beautiful vintage Vienna clock with a modern battery run movement. I would like to switch the face and movement over to something that chimes; any suggestions? Thanks.

Did you want a vintage chime movement? If so, a clock shop should be able to help you. If a modern set up is fine with you, simply type in "chime movement" on the web and you’ll find plenty of sites to check out and choose from.

I just picked up an old german wind up clock, the maker is Schatz&Sohne the number on the back is 500 894 0047 there is not I much information I have other than that. it has the chimes and a key, looks to be all original but I cannot tell. I picked this clock up from a yard sale for $20.00 but I think it is worth more.

the case is solid oak, and the clock has the key, and work very well. can someone please help?

no one can really answer unless they see the clock..Schatz had a good reputation and probably merged with Sohne for at least awhile..if it works and has a good case it should certainly be worth more than $20 but beyond that i would have to be seen by a collector

Does anyone have any pictures, or know any pictures of a long gold locket, and when you open it there is a clock on one side.

I really like how vintage stuff looks. I know urban outfitters has some stuff, but does anyone else know where to get some vintage decor? (like paintings, posters, records, clocks, furniture etc.?)
