I am trying to find out where this clock comes from and the maker . And the value of the clock as well. It is a wooden Mantel clock, the front opens to wind it with a key the back opens and has a pengaliem there is FHS cm 15 78.28 engraved inside the back. I know it has to be an antique because it came from an 83 year old unle. Can anyone help? please

FHS means it was made by Franz Hermle & Sons…..

have a german tambrun mantel clock believe to be antique. can not find any info on my own. was hoping maybe someone out there might be able to direct me to a link up with someone who those these clocks and values. thanks.

You really can find that on e-bay

The clock has two stamped bronze panels. The panels have Roman warriors. The clock has Classical/Roman detailing on it, and was styled to resemble a Roman temple.

There are a few places that may have the information you are looking for, I don’t know if you have any decorative features to your clock so its hard to tell exactly. Here are some sites that may help, if not I would bring it to a local antique dealer that specializes in clocks to get at least an insurance value.
